The Australian Red Cross do a fantastic job each year to ensure thousands of Australians have access to life-saving blood. With their help the lives of hundreds of Australians are saved each year. In 2010 Donaldson Walsh Lawyers took up the challenge with some of Adelaide's top law firms to see who could donate the most blood and WON!
After taking out the inaugural law firm challenge trophy the DW team has thrown the challenge out to the rest of the legal community to get on board in 2011 and try to beat us!

Why did Donaldson Walsh decide to join the Challenge?
Because it was in support of a fantastic cause and we're a competitive bunch who love a challenge!
How did representatives from your firm find the blood donation experience?
Apart from a few minor fainting incidents, donating blood was a good experience for all involved and we found the phlebotomists and all other staff to be very polite and friendly.
With Donaldson Walsh donors giving 45 blood donations during the Challenge, enough to take the title - and help save 135 lives - how did this feel?
Brilliant. So brilliant that we are encouraging participants to continue to donate outside of the Challenge, and many have done so already.
Has anyone from the firm, that you know of, had a close connection to someone who has needed blood or blood products?
We do not think that there is anyone anywhere who does not know someone who has felt the benefit of the services provided by the Red Cross. I personally would not be here if it weren't for blood products provided by the Red Cross.
Assuming that Donaldson Walsh participates again next year, what do you have to say to competing firms?
Bring it on! You'll never bleed us dry!
