SISA is an incorporated association that represents most of South Australia's largest private and public sector employers that are self insured under the Workers Rehabilitiation & Compensation Act.
SISA is recognised as the sole representative organisation for self insured employers. It provides its member organisations with assistance and support in their interactions with the workers compensation scheme and promotes best practice in the prevention and management of workplace injuries.

In the second half of each calendar year, SISA holds an annual Awards dinner. In previous years this event has attracted up to 570 people and has been acknowledged as a high point on the SISA calendar. The SISA Awards Dinner is attended by a wide cross-section of the business community, key stakeholders, the public sector and the OH&S and injury management professions.
