Chris practises in Donaldson Walsh's Corporate and Commercial team, specialising in franchising, intellectual property (IP) and wills and estates.

Whilst at Donaldson Walsh Chris has worked at each end of the franchising spectrum, representing both franchisees and franchisors. Chris's work involves drafting, reviewing and providing advice on franchise documentation including franchise agreements, disclosure documents, sale contracts and property leases as well as advising clients in dispute resolution issues.

In the area of IP, Chris provides advice on general protection issues and commercialisation strategies in a range of areas including trade marks, patents, designs, copyright, domain names and business names.

In the area of wills and estates, Chris provides advice, drafts wills and other estate related documents and assists clients with estate planning and the administration of deceased estates.

In addition to his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, Chris has also successfully completed the Taxation Institute of Australia's course in Foundation Tax and completed a Master of Industrial Property degree (MIP) and intends to register as a Trade Mark Attorney.
