Joan's practice, for the past 20 years, has been focused on personal injury insurance, including motor vehicle accident matters. She has specialised in the assessment of complex and major CTP claims relating to catastrophic spinal cord and acquired brain injuries, as well as paraplegia and quadriplegia.
As a major claims specialist, Joan deals with claims involving significant or complex insurance issues and is responsible for managing the Transport Accident Commission's (TAC) portfolio of claims for Donaldson Walsh.
In addition to CTP matters for TAC, Joan's breadth of insurance experience also includes professional indemnity, general insurance and medical negligence.
Joan's approach is to resolve claims quickly, cost-effectively and equitably through cooperation with all stakeholders.
