Madeleine specialises in intellectual property law, consumer law, wine law and provides advice in relation to general commercial matters.

She provides advice to intellectual property & technology clients on protection and commercialisation strategies in a range of areas including trade marks, patents, designs, copyright, information technology, Internet, e-commerce and domain and business names.

Madeleine’s passion and knowledge of the wine industry has helped her focus on developing a successful wine practice advising clients on legal matters including grape purchase and supply agreements, commercial transactions, intellectual property, trade marks, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, export, geographical indicators, dispute resolution and business succession.

Whilst focusing on intellectual property and wine law, Madeleine also enjoys working with our Wills, Estates & Business Succession Team to help protect clients’ personal and business assets. In this area she assists clients with wills, administration of estates, powers of attorney, estate planning, company formation and business succession.
