Margaret has acted in workers compensation and industrial matters since being admitted to practice in 1993 and has extensive experience representing workers, compensating authorities and employers. She has also worked in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, discrimination and equal opportunity, industrial and workplace law and occupational health and safety.
Currently, Margaret advises self insured and registered employers in workers compensation matters, including claimants' entitlements, rehabilitation and return to work, and represents clients before the South Australian Workers Compensation Tribunal.
She also advises employers and workers in all matters related to or arising from employment, such as work related criminal prosecutions, equal opportunity and discrimination, occupational health and safety, unfair dismissals, breach of employment contracts, underpayment of wages, enterprise agreements and modern awards.
