Melanie specialises in insolvency, debt recovery and commercial disputes, with particluar expertise in the banking and finance, property and insurance industries. She also acts regularly in wills and estate disputes and in general contract law.
She has extensive experience in conducting debt recovery files for high profile debt collection agencies in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane and in recovery work for the Motor Accident Commission and general debt recovery work for financial institutions and banks.
In addition to her Law and Legal Practice Degree, Melanie has completed Course I and II in Advanced Insolvency Law and Practice. She is a co-founder and President of the South Australian Branch for the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Australian Institute of Credit Management.
