Richard is a commercial solicitor specialising in contractual and property issues, finance and banking, and general business dealings. Within the property sector he has a particular focus on commercial transactions and development work, as well as preparing and advising on commercial leases.

Following 15 years as a sole practitioner, Richard merged his private practice with Donaldson Walsh in January 2009.

While his business structure changed, Richard's practice areas and approach to understanding client matters remains the same. His private practice owed its success as much to Richard's co-operative approach as to his ability to provide correct and sensible technical advice.

He continues to work with an established client base that includes property investors, builders and developers, finance companies and brokers, and several Adelaide-based manufacturing companies.
